Dear Friends & Family,
Our kid’s school, Kigali International Community School, in Rwanda is doing a fundraiser to help purchase technology tools for the classrooms. The event is called “Walk 4 Growth”. All of the students will be participating in this walk-a-thon on Thursday March 26th, by walking laps around the school field to raise money.
We would love for you to be involved! Each student is trying to ask friends and family to sponsor them by donating any amount ($25, $50, $100, $500, or more!). They will keep track of their donations and then submit them to their class teacher on Wednesday March 25th. Then on Thursday, they will walk laps around the field as a class. As a reward, the class that raises the highest amount will get a pizza party, paid for by the PTO!
1. Follow this link to donate online anytime before Tuesday March 24th.
2. At the bottom of the online form, is a place to check “KICS-Walk4Growth” and the name of the student you would like to sponsor. Also, if you would like to give a donation in memory or in honor of someone, there is a space to do that as well. All money donated for this fundraiser is 501c3 tax-deductible in the USA.
3. Reply back to me with the donation amount and student’s name, so they can update their student donation form.
